Nutrition is the foundation of everything we do and are, it is what fuels us, and keeps our bodies equipped for whatever we decide to take on in our day. At Nova 3 Labs we believe that building a strong nutritional foundation is only laying the groundwork for your future success. In today’s society, it is incredibly easy to be confused and overwhelmed by the vast amount of misinformation offered by well-meaning sources.
Our primary purpose is to demystify the entire process and develop a clear, customized nutritional program which will be tailored towards your personal goals. Beyond that, our aim is to educate our clients and athletes to see beyond nutrition as a diet, but as fuel for life. Inadequate nutrition can lead to chronic disease, poor performance, obesity, and a lack of energy. Optimal nutrition leads to high performance, lack of illness, lean body mass, and an abundance of energy. With this in mind, we take the multifaceted approach of implementing proven athletic nutrition, the latest research into health + performance, and a strong emphasis on whole foods and individual concerns.
How To Get Started
Step 1: Webinar- Nova 3 Labs will host an informative webinar to reach out to each and every one of the employees at your company. This webinar will include a brief explanation of how we view and approach nutrition, how we will get your employee’s to reach their nutrition goals and the background of our company, as well as what the best food tracking apps are and how to track your food!
Step 2: Getting set up: Once each employee has signed up for our account, they will be emailed a PDF of instructions on how to start. We work primarily with a private Facebook group created exclusively for your company, the link to which will be provided in the PDF.
Step 3: Discuss Next Steps: We are glad you asked, the next step is for the employee to post their starting statistics in the group. From there a nutritionist will be assigned to the employee, and they will work with them exclusively for the remaining time of our contract.
Step 4: Weekly interaction: After the initial post, the employee will be given a prescription of macronutrient based numbers (a certain number of protein grams, fat grams, and carb grams to eat daily) to follow each day. The employee will be expected to post in the group once a week on any day they choose, to tag the nutritionist and update the nutritionist and their progress, energy, sleep, etc. (all information on updates is given in the initial PDF).
Step 5: Contract Design: Nova 3 Labs will negotiate with the company to individualize the terms of their Corporate Wellness Program contract.
Step 6: Implementation Meeting: We will decide together what the best date is for the webinar, the follow-up dates as a whole and the start and end date of the program.
Step 7: Live Q & A: We will host a live Q & A if anyone has any questions about the setup process.
